|Bill Title:||Relating to air pollution; declaring an emergency.|
Requires Environmental Quality Commission to adopt by rule certain statewide greenhouse gas emissions limits by no later than January 1, 2018.
Requires commission to adopt action plan for ensuring statewide greenhouse gas emissions do not exceed limits adopted by commission. Requires Department of Environmental Quality to periodically prepare reports to commission on best available climate science, to be used by commission in adopting and updating greenhouse gas emissions limits and related rules. Repeals provision granting certain exemptions from air pollution laws. Repeals provision relating to greenhouse gas emissions goals. Makes repeals operative January 1, 2018. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
