Requires Higher Education Coordinating Commission to convene work group of stakeholders to determine most appropriate method for public universities and community colleges to report employment data for employees.
Sunsets work group June 30, 2017] December 15, 2016. Requires commission to use data from national post-secondary data collection system within United States Department of Education to report staffing ratios of faculty and staff at public universities and community colleges to Legislative Assembly. Requires commission to convene work group of stakeholders to determine how public universities and community colleges calculate part-time faculty hours to determine if part-time faculty members are eligible for health care benefits. Sunsets work group December 15, 2015. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
