|Bill Title:||Relating to admissibility of hearsay statements; declaring an emergency.|
Directs Oregon Law Commission to study and make recommendations for changes to law relating to hearsay in criminal actions involving sex trafficking.
Provides that certain hearsay statements related to certain sex crimes are not inadmissible in evidence even though declarant is available as witness.] Directs commission to report to committee or interim committee of Legislative Assembly no later than December 31, 2015. Sunsets on January 2, 2016. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
