|Bill Title:||Relating to a tax on motor vehicle rentals; appropriating money; prescribing an effective date; providing for revenue raising that requires approval by a three-fifths majority.|
Establishes tax on motor vehicle rentals.
Deposits revenue to State Highway Fund. Continuously appropriates moneys to Department of Transportation for highway purposes. Applies to motor vehicles rented on or after January 1, 2012. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
