|Bill Title:||Relating to vehicle registration fees imposed by counties; and declaring an emergency.|
Specifies that ordinances by county with population of 350,000 or more may impose, until July 1, 2013, registration fees only for purposes related to funding bridge that crosses Willamette River.
Permits county to use local registration fees to pay for debt service and costs related to bonds or other obligations.] Restricts use of bridge until July 1, 2013. Deletes, until July 1, 2013, provision authorizing counties with population of less than 350,000 to establish registration fees upon referral of ordinance to county electorate. Requires, on and after July 1, 2013, ordinance imposing registration fees to provide for disbursement of specified amount of moneys to cities within county. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
