Catchline/Summary: Requires health insurers to approve or reject provider's application to become credentialed provider within 90 days of receipt.
Requires <i>certain</i>] health insurers to approve or reject <i>participating provider applications</i>] <b>provider's application to become credentialed provider</b> within <i>30</i>] <b>90</b> days of receipt. Requires insurers <i>that fail to approve or reject applications to reimburse providers for services provided after 30-day period</i>]<b> to pay claims for medical services provided by provider during credentialing period</b>.<b> Creates exception.</b> Declares emergency, effective on passage.
