Deletes sunset from provisions relating to performance of certain DNA tests.
Allows health care provider or health insurer to retain genetic information without authorization if retention is for treatment, payment or health care operations by provider or insurer. Allows health care provider or health insurer, under specified conditions, to disclose genetic information without authorization to another covered entity for health care operations activities if other entity has relationship with individual who is subject of protected information. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
